It is the tenderness of its palm trees, the sweetness of its water, the marvel of beauty, the line of time in which its pages are golden lines, and the present is sung by the sweetest melodies. It is the largest desert oasis in the world. Located in the eastern part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with an area of 530 thousand km², it is located between two major cities, Riyadh and Dammam. The governorate is also linked to the GCC. The region’s topography ranges from mountainous highlands to wetlands, Al-Ahsa with fertile agricultural soil made it one of the largest palm oases in the world. Al-Ahsa has a continental climate.
